An Exclusive Interview - The Creator Of Spicer / WeShouldTryIt

One of the biggest challenges couples who have been together for quite some time face is keeping their chemistry / sexual spark / NRE (New Relationship Energy, defined as “a state of mind experienced at the beginning of sexual and romantic relationships, typically involving heightened emotional and sexual feelings and excitement”) alive.

This is of course normal, but it can be a bit difficult to get back.

That’s where the website and the app can come in handy!

“We Should Try It” is an online sex questionnaire for couples that is designed to help them communicate better about their intimate fantasies and desires. How does it work?

It’s simple! You and your partner answer a set of questions about what you’d like to try regarding your sex life. Once you both answer all the questions about various sexual fantasies, it displays only the sex fantasies that you are both into.

One of the major benefits to this is that it spares you the fear of embarrassment you might feel if your partner knew you were into some of the things you are that they might find weird (like cuckolding). Again, it does this by displaying only the fantasies you both indicated an interest in, not those where one or both of you said “no”.

Spicer is the app version of this website, and has many more features and benefits.

I’ve recommended both to a lot of my clients who have found them very useful, so I wanted to reach out to the developer to thank him and see if he would be open to doing a brief interview about his website and app. Since you’re reading this, you already know he agreed. We hope you enjoy getting to know a bit more about the background of “We Should Try It” and Spicer!

The Interview

Q: What made you want to create your site/sex questionnaire? Where did the idea come from?

A: Years ago there was a similar website but it was offline often. I was not able to use it myself, so I decided to make something that works.

Q: How did you decide which questions to include in the questionnaire?

A: We wanted to include as many questions as possible. With more than 12000 questions in Spicer, there is something for everyone.

Q: What are some things a couple can/should expect to get from taking your questionnaire?

A: Your communication about sex will improve. You will discuss and talk about things you like. This is the way to improve your sex life.

Q: If someone was nervous about asking their partner to try this survey out, how can they go about proposing it in a way their partner would be receptive to?

A: This is obviously very personal and depends on your partner. There is no straight answer. No one will know your partner better than you. You can just send them the link and see if they like the idea.

Q: What kind of feedback have you gotten from couples who have taken the questionnaire?

A: It works! Everyone is pretty happy and enjoying it. It’s the best feeling to receive emails from couples that says Spicer changed their sex life so much.

Q: Have you done any anonymous aggregate analysis on the data you’ve received from all the answers you’ve gotten?

A: We are currently working on anonymous scientific analysis. Stay tuned!

Q: How is your site/questionnaire is different from other companies that offer similar things?

A: We released the mobile app Spicer that helps you discuss sex without stress. This was a big step and now you can answer sex questions from your phone and have lots of extra features such as sex dares, sex mood, sex tracker and private chat with your partner for every match. We are working on innovative solutions to sex communications and it is the main activity of the Spicer company.

Q: Let’s say someone took the free questionnaire and they were debating on whether or not to get one of the paid ones. What would be a benefit of getting one or more of the paid ones as opposed to just doing the free ones?

A: We wanted to make the free version be good enough to improve your sex life. No payment required to enjoy Spicer / We Should Try It. Once you already enjoying the results from the free version, there are additional packs of questions for more advanced topics. Paid packs in Spicer cover very broad areas and some things you have probably never heard of. Also in case the free version worked for you, buying paid packs will help us fund our development and running costs.

I want to thank the owner/developer for taking the time out of his schedule to do this interview with us. If you haven’t already, you should definitely check out the site ( and/or the app .
